Welcome

Mrs Karen Wade - PrincipalBentleigh Secondary College is proud of its continuing tradition of excellence. Our teaching and learning programs set high expectations for all students. We believe that the college motto “being the best you can be” is something everyone in our school community must aspire to. Our curriculum is innovative and rigorous and we offer a broad and challenging academic program from years 7-12.

We are a thriving and well resourced college having just completed one of the most ambitious and successful building projects of any state secondary school in Victoria. It has created a greater sense of purpose and pride for all members of our learning community.

Our extra-curricular programs offer outstanding opportunities in instrumental music, the performing arts, leadership, sport, camps and activities, and community service. Strong and positive relationships are the cornerstone of our inclusive college culture. These relationships are supported by our codes of conduct which are based on the following principles: the right to learn, the right to be treated with respect and the right to be safe. Bentleigh Secondary College embraces sustainable practices and is at the forefront of preparing students to become active lifelong learners to meet the needs and challenges of the 21st century.
