In celebration of International
Women’s Day. On Tuesday the 9th of March, Bentleigh Secondary College celebrated International Women’s Day by hosting 320 primary school girls for our Marie Curie STEAM Party.
The students and teachers that attended watched a showcase by the Performing Arts Academy and participated in STEAM practicals lead by our STEAM Academy Students, both with the common theme of celebrating the women who have contributed to the fields of STEAM and acknowledging this year’s International Women’s Day theme of #ChooseToChallenge.
Over 70 of our students were involved on the day, either in the Performing Arts showcase or leading the students through the STEAM practicals. Every one of these students should be commended on their efforts in helping make this day a success, and for being such wonderful role models for our visitors!
