Principal’s Reading Challenge

Discover the Magic of Reading!
Are you ready to take on the Principal’s Reading Challenge and see how many books you can devour by the end of Book Week? Now is the perfect time to dive into the enchanting world of stories and get lost in as many books as possible!

This year’s Book Week theme is ‘Reading is Magic.’ Can you uncover the magic hidden within the pages of each book?

Sustainability Summit

Our students attended the 2024 Sustainability Summit at Kew High School, where students explored sustainable practices through showcases, engaged with industry leaders, and participated in workshops. They also connected with peers from across Melbourne, sharing ideas for a greener future.

Annual Winter Hamper Drive

is on to support some of our students and their families in need. We are collecting non-perishable foods and toiletries to create special hampers filled with warmth and care.

Drop off your donations at the Genereal Office by Wednesday, 7 August.

Thank you for your generosity and for being a part of our school's community spirit.

HOUSE ATHLETICS CARNIVAL

Was held on Monday 29 July at Duncan McKinnon Athletics Track.

Track Events: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m.

Field Events: Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Discus, Shot Put, Javelin.

Relays: 4 x 100m, Shuttle Relay, Staff v Students Relay.

It's wonderful to see the students' achievements and the enthusiastic participation in the track and field events despite the rainy weather! Congratulations to Fawkner for their overall win and to all the age group champions for their outstanding performances.

Special kudos to Annabel J for her impressive swimming results at the School Sport Australia Swimming Championships, George F for qualifying for Nationals in cross-country, Marco D and Iluka W for their state representation in soccer, and Liv H for representing Victoria in AFLW. These accomplishments highlight the talent and dedication of the students in various sports. Well done to everyone!

MADD Night

Music Arts Dance Drama What a a spectacular event! The students' creativity and passion shining through in their performances, art, and designs made for an inspiring and memorable night on Wednesday 24 July. Kudos to everyone who participated and contributed to making it such a success!

Recycling Scheme

10c Can/Bottle Recycling Scheme♻️

We are excited to announce the launch of our 10c can/bottle recycling scheme, thanks to the support of the Moorabbin Recycling Depot!

Bins are set up around the school.
Remember: Only cans and bottles, please!

Every can or bottle you recycle benefits the SRC (Student Representative Council).

Tip: If it’s not a can or a bottle, it’s a no-go!
(No leftover sandwiches or old homework, please!)
