At Bentleigh Secondary College, we actively promote student leadership and student voice. Students are encouraged to take on responsibility, contribute to school life and have a genuine say in what happens within the college.
A range of formal leadership roles are available and are strongly supported by students, including College, House and Class Captains.
Student-led groups such as the Student Representative Council (SRC), Green Machine and Respect Committee provide additional opportunities for students to be involved in decision-making and initiatives that impact the school community.
There are also broader leadership opportunities beyond the classroom, including programs such as the School for Student Leadership, allowing students to develop their skills and contribute both within the college and beyond.
